Sharing our district office is Disciple Bible Outreach Ministries of North Carolina (DBOM), a collaborative ministry established by the Western North Carolina and North Carolina Conferences for the promotion and development of Disciple Bible Study ministries in local churches and prison settings in the state of North Carolina.
Four components comprise DBOM:
- Local Church Disciple Ministry, Disciple Bible Study being led for small membership, rural and ethnic minority churches;
- Prison Ministry, which is Disciple Bible Study in prisons at this time;
- Faithful Friends, a continuing Disciple Bible Study ministry for released and paroled Disciple prison participants;
- Rings of Fellowship, a Bible Study developed by Disciple Bible Outreach Ministries in partnership with the N.C. Deptartment of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention for use in working with young people within the Youth Development Centers.
